Initial release (v1.0)
I've been working for a while on narrative-ish generic game, tentatively titled Nimbus, and it's something of a mix between Fate and Forged in the Dark. It's not quite ready for sharing, but I thought it might be fun to try distilling some core elements down to 24 words.
Quite a few things had to be changed: I couldn't explain "if rolling zero dice" or "cuts" (from the Wildsea) with so few words, so I modified that to a mechanism that cancels out the bonus dice from relevant aspects. And maybe "critical" isn't the best one-word explanation of a critical success, but it'll do for most ttrpg players.
I aim to expand it some time later with elements that I feel are quite important, like using and compelling aspects, but those definitely won't fit into the initial 24 word release (for the jam!). Plus, I wanted to tinker on them further to really boil them down to the barest minimum so as to be as rules-light as possible.
Hope you enjoy Wisp!
