~ a rules-light flavour-light game ~

Ventureborn is written to let you take any world or setting and jump into playing immediately. Rules and character creation are simple, flexible, and widely applicable for all sorts of genres and tropes. 

How rules-light exactly? Just 16 pages, including the front and back covers! Character creation is just a page, with 2 pages of tables for inspiration (player or GM), rules to play takes 4 pages, a little GM advice on 2 pages, and 2 more pages of optional rules. Not only is it a quick read, but hopefully also useful as a reference during play.

Page size is half-letter, which allows easy printing as a booklet or two-to-a-page. It would be slightly smaller if printing on A4 paper, but should still be easily legible.
